Why Do We Have Spiritual Masters? 
Spiritual Masters are similar to roadsigns along a busy highway. Today when people travel from place to place, they also rely on maps, computers and satellites. As the more in-depth guide towards their destination, these items exist because humanity possesses extensive geographic knowledge of the entire surface of Earth. Acquiring this comprehensive understanding has taken a very long time.
For a moment let us imagine maps, computers, and satellites do not exist. Directions consist of only sporadic roadsigns in conjunction with one's ability to assess the position of the Sun during the day and certain star systems visible in the night sky. Under these conditions reaching a far away destination is much more challenging for the travelers. Humanity does not have a clear understanding of the underlying plan for spiritual evolution established for human beings a long, long time ago. Spiritual Masters are the custodians of this Divine Plan. In the area of spiritual evolution there are no maps, computers, or satellites. There are various degrees of Masters; they are still evolving as well. Most utilize the well-established Piscean Method for instructing. This group of masters will grow in importance as the Aquarian Era evolves since we will have more members of our species than ever before functioning as enlightened souls in Aquarius. This catalytic work involves assisting others to merge the Spirit into Divine Aspect with the resulting appearance of Divine Realization and Divine Actualization being manifested upon the third dimension of concrete matter.

One of the great limitations restricting the forward growth of sincere spiritual seekers is the attitude many possess regarding Spiritual Masters. Each Soul evolves through service. In a human being, soul expansion occurs as the direct result of the service activities rendered to others. This is known as: The Way of the Heart; it is the way that opens the door into the human soul.
The goal of any Spiritual Master is for the student to surpass the teacher. It is not possible for a student to do this without expressing some kind of service dedicated to the whole. This is well known by every sincere disciple who-ever lived upon Earth.
We are blessed by Divine Cosmic Spirit to have the appearance of many productive spiritual organizations present throughout the world today. A common challenge shared by each one is finding individuals who are attracted enough by their vision and mission that they come forward offering to assist. Expanding any spiritual endeavor takes the help of many who are working together in harmony for the good of the whole. So it is that the very fortunate apprentice learns by doing, growing gradually in wisdom, accepting greater levels of responsibility and eventually becoming the Master themselves.
